1. Who handles your information
The shop identified on your job card, estimate, or receipt is responsible for the customer information it collects for its repair and retail business. Contact the shop using the details on that document about your records or this notice.
We use Serilo as a software service to organise relevant business records. Serilo’s separate notice explains its own platform administration and the processing it carries out for shops.
2. Information and purposes
We use your name, telephone number, necessary contact information, and transaction details to record your request, communicate about the work or purchase, take agreed payments, issue documents, and handle collection, returns, and warranties.
For a repair, this can include the device model, IMEI or serial number, condition, accessories, fault description, estimate, authorisation, work performed, and collection. We will explain why any additional identity information is needed. An identity number is not automatically required for every repair.
If device access is needed, we will explain the testing and ask for the necessary limited authorisation. We will not treat it as permission to examine unrelated private content. Please ask about an alternative if you do not want to provide a passcode.
4. Retention, messages, and requests
We retain records for the relevant repair, transaction, warranty, legal recordkeeping, and valid claims purposes under the retention arrangements we disclose. Credentials and unrelated notes should not be kept merely because an invoice must be retained.
Necessary messages about your repair or transaction are separate from promotional messages. We will seek any required permission for promotions and explain how to withdraw it.
Contact the shop to ask about access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or another concern. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law in force. A request will not affect a statutory right or remedy you may have.
