1. More than cookies
Web services may store or read information using cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies. This notice covers Serilo’s website, application, and public repair tracking. Browser storage is separate from customer and repair records held by the service.
The current application uses strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, and local storage for a non-secret signed-in marker and selected interface preferences. The marketing website’s reviewed source does not include an advertising or audience-analytics integration. Network protection and hosting may have their own processing, which is addressed in the launch provider review.
2. Application storage
- serilo.auth.session
- A non-secret marker that you are signed in, so the app knows to resume your session after a reload. It is removed on sign-out. Clearing browser storage does not delete shop records.
- serilo_at, serilo_rt, serilo_csrf (cookies)
- Strictly necessary sign-in cookies set by the service. The access and refresh cookies are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict, so page scripts cannot read them; the CSRF cookie protects against forged cross-site requests. They are renewed during the session and removed on sign-out. Clearing cookies signs you out but does not delete shop records.
- serilo.branch
- Remembers branch selections for the account. It persists until replaced or cleared from browser storage.
- serilo.theme
- Remembers an explicitly selected light or dark appearance. Selecting the system preference removes this saved choice.
- serilo.ui
- Remembers the sidebar display preference. It persists until replaced or cleared from browser storage.
3. Your controls
You can change the theme in the app, sign out to end your session and remove the sign-in cookies and marker, or remove site storage through your browser settings. Removing storage may reset preferences and interrupt a session. On a shared device, sign out and follow your shop’s device-security procedure.
Sign-in storage serves the requested account function. Preference storage has a different purpose and should not be described as advertising tracking. If optional analytics, advertising, or other technologies requiring permission are introduced, their purpose, provider, duration, and controls will be disclosed before they are enabled.
This notice does not treat continued browsing or acceptance of the Terms as blanket consent to future tracking. A consent banner will be used where required by the applicable rules and the technologies actually deployed; a decorative banner is not a substitute for the necessary controls.
4. Questions and changes
Contact serilo.app@gmail.com about browser storage or privacy. We will update this inventory when the application’s storage changes and review any additional storage introduced by deployed infrastructure.
